Management Chief Executive Officer - Scott Livengood Scott Livengood has directed Alpha Supported Living Services since 2001. During that time, he has seen the agency grow from serving 13 people living in three homes with an annual budget of under $1M to now being the largest non-profit supported living agency in Washington with an annual operating budget of approximately $10M. A graduate of the University of Washington, he has worked in the field of developmental disabilities since 1993. Before coming to Alpha, Scott worked as a certification evaluator contracted with DDD and as a Program Supervisor for another supported living agency in the area. He originally started as a Direct Support Professional, so he is acutely aware of the challenges and rewards of providing direct support for people with developmental disabilities. Scott previously served as the Chair of the statewide provider’s association, the Community Residential Services Association (CRSA), served as the Co-Chair of the Valued Lives Conference, and currently serves as the Legislative Co-Chair for CRSA. During his term as CRSA Chair, the association received the Wyckoff Award for Advocacy from Provail. In 2009, Scott was presented with an award from The Arc of Washington “in recognition of outstanding contributions in supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families.” He also received Alpha’s Outstanding Service Award in 2009. Since 2007, Scott has served as the state representative to ANCOR, the national association representing service providers supporting people with developmental disabilities and attended the national conference in Washington D.C. in 2009. |
